Montiggl - Horse Teeth
Varied mountain bike tour on the Mitterberg - from Tramin to Montiggl and over the Rosszähne to Gmund
From Tramin üvia the Seerundweg to Klughammer on Lake Kaltern. Briefly in the direction of Kreither Sattel, then immediately turn left and follow trail 20 to Frühlingstal. Here keep left again and descend to the field path. Immediately turn right and through the Fusca valley (later marker 5) to Montiggl. Continue to Rungg and turn right up to the Wilder Mann Bühel. Now the tour leads down to the small and large Montiggl lakes and through the Totental valley to the Kreither Sattel. On gravel we head towards Leuchtenburg, and up to the Rosszähnen. Here the path becomes narrower and more demanding. On trail no. 13 the trail descends very steeply through steep terrain to Gmund and back to the starting point in Tramin.
