On the pass.
There are only two words needed to describe this tour: beautiful and easy! The Costalunga (1745 m) pass lies in between the Latemar Group and the Catinaccio and connects the Trentino and Alto Adige provinces.

With no doubt the costalunga pass is on the top of the list for mountain biking tours in the Dolomite region. From Moena the climb is tough but achievable, and the stunning views at the top are definitely a worthy reward. on the downhill, forest roads and a short single-track lead to the village of tamion, and the “I chimpl“ restaurant. Itinerary description Depart on MtB route n. 203 (sign-posted). Leave Moena ➊ 1130 m from the big “navalge“ car park, outside the Info-Point, cross the river Avisio and keep pedalling to the town hall ➋, riding through some idyllic alleys, head west and follow the signs to Malga Roncac and the Passo costalunga (waymark n. 520) ➌ + ➍. At this point follow road n. 519, still watching out for directions to Passo costalunga, and on a steep gradient the top of the pass is reached ➎ on the SS 241. turn left here, soon getting to Passo costalunga ➏ 1745 m, which is the goal of this route, and also the returning point. Set off to the east up to the fork ➐
