From Naturno in Vinschgau to Monte San Catarina in Schnalstal

This itinerary starts in Naturno at the cemetery car park. The tour starts with an initial ascent, pass by the San Procolo church then turn left and after the school turn right then carry on in direction of Monte Sole (waymark). The steep asphalt road takes directly to the uphill station of the Unterstell funicular railway. From the Unterstell station carry on until the Patleid farmhouse along path N.24A that is made up of different types of terrain – sometimes downhill, sometimes flat, sometimes very steep uphill until the Inner-Unterstell farmhouse. This part of the tour will require you to manually push your bike in certain points. From the Inner-Unterstell farmhouse there are various possibilities (see variant). We still have energy to spare so we choose the Merano high path (N.24 – Attention: Hikers have “priority”) and we ride/push/carry the bike to the Kopfron farmhouse. After a brief distance on asphalt road carry on along path N.24, first downhill and then with your bike on
