From Brixen to Klausen.
A very popular tour among the locals, as it can actually be done all year round (depending on snow conditions). This tour actually offers everything you would expect from a typical CC tour. Beautiful climbs, difficult descents and many opportunities to stop in nice villages and pubs.

Start at the Hofburg (1) in Brixen and continue towards the river, which you roll along to the left and/or right until you reach Albeins (2). From there on trail no. 4 and then on a gravel road towards the south to the small town of Klausen (3).After a short rest on the village square (water can be refilled at the fountain), the route continues into the Tinnetal; at first leisurely, but then extremely steeply uphill to Pardell (4). Here the actual chestnut trail begins and is quite difficult at first. From Hof Moar zu Viers (5) it’s easier and flowier. Past Feldthurns (6) the trail becomes a little more difficult to ride and after Pinzagen (7) there are a few more sharp turns on trail no. 20. Shortly afterwards, we pass under the Brenner motorway and roll through the pedestrian zone of Brixen towards a well-earned ice cream at the cathedral square.
