This mountain bike tour starts in Eppan. Take the cycle path via Christl im Loch to Kaltern as far as the cellar cooperatives. At the Cafè Trude turn right into the village centre of Kaltern. After the parish church, keep right and cycle towards Altenburg/Sportzone. Continue along the asphalt road to Altenburg. Follow the signs for Tramin on the main road to Gelf Hof. There turn right into the Fortsweg, which leads to the Lenzenhof farm in Graun (trail no. 4). Shortly before the Lenzenhof make a U-turn (trail no. 9) and follow the Traminer Höhenweg. From now on, follow trail no. 9 and shortly after crossing the Mendel cable car, do not miss the left-hand ascent into the narrow trail. Shortly after, trail no. 9 joins the main road towards Mendelpass. Follow the main road to the Matschatsch hill and then trail no. 9 (Eppaner Höhenweg) in the direction of Buchwald.
