Just a small tip, I did this tour today with a small change. I passed by Neureuth . There's a trail - 681a and then you can choose to follow it down to Tegernsee or go right. This time I went to right to connect to the path in this tour (if you do not turn, it is also I guess S1 wider trail for some time). Good forest downhill (lot of fallen trees though there now), I estimate it's S1 (some loose rocks, roots, no bigger drops)
