Archeological findings
The Lake Ledro has become better known due to its archaeological findings. Many years ago, this mountain-lake was also “discovered” by numerous bikers. Therefore, many of the path are perfectly indicated by now.

From the port in (1) Riva del Garda (70 m) you proceed south for approx. 500 m while following the “western Gardesana”. Little before the tunnel you start to climb on the “Sentiero del Ponale”. 3 km later you reach the terrace-bar “Ponale Alto”. At the following junction you keep the right (sign Pre/Molina). Following the access-road into the Ledro valley for approx. 2 km, you reach the entrance into the (2) SS240. On the main road you continue until you reach the bridge, which you cross to continue via the steep forest road on the right (also bike-track), continuously entering the valley (sign Pre/Molina). Following the signs you will reach the village (3) Pre (501 m). Across its centre and always entering the valley you will reach (4) Molina di Ledro (640 m). After approx. 700 the path enters the main road next to in (5) info-point. The now following path around the lake goes clock-wise and along the road close to the shore. You pass the village (6) Pur (662 m) and reach the suburbs
