This mountain bike tour starts in Kaltern and leads into the adjacent Montiggler forest. A leisurely mountain bike tour with varied terrain: asphalt, forest path and a short trail are also included.

This tour starts from Kaltern village to the wineries at the entrance to the village. From there, take the cycle path (by the locomotive) in the direction of Eppan and past the Christl im Loch snack station to Kreuzweg in Eppan. Follow the signs for the cycle path in the direction of Bolzano. At the bike shop Sanvit turn right and follow the Antoniusweg towards Montiggl. Turn right at the road junction and follow Patersteig to Montiggl. Turn right at the church in Montiggl village and follow the asphalt path, first through orchards, later through the forest. From Altenloch (horse stabling area) straight on via the Lavason valley to Kreuzweg and from there via the cycle path back to Kaltern.
