A classic in Alta Pusteria
The tour begins in Villabassa and continues on trail no. 27 (Maistattweg) via Bad Maistatt to Rienz and on to the Saghäusern. From here to Lake Dobbiaco, changing to the left bank and heading into the valley to Lake Drensee. At the lake, continue for a short distance to Schluderbach. Here turn right onto trail no. 37 and follow the gravel road in many bends up to the Plätzwiese. Cross the plateau of the Plätzwiese on trail no. 37 and then take the same trail down to the Brüggele inn. Continue through the Altpragstal valley to Schmieden or Hofstatt. At Hofstatt turn right and descend via Lercha on a tarred road to Villabassa. Dolomiti Superbike long route
