Up to the pass
A long, technically quite easy mountain bike tour in very beautiful scenery.

The tour starts at the yellow Eurac cycle path bridge in Bolzano. First take the Etschtal cycle path to the Pfattner bridge, then continue on the road to Laives. At the traffic lights turn right into Weissensteinstrasse. Now always uphill through the Brantental valley, initially on asphalt, later on a forest road to Deutschnofen. Now continue following the markings 1 and 8 to Schwarzenbach and Rauth. Continue 2km on asphalt to Obereggen. Follow the road briefly downhill to Bewallerhof, where a beautiful, mostly flat forest road to Lake Carezza begins. Continue along a forest path and later along a forest road to Castel Latemar. From here, take the Nigerpass road to the top of the pass. Here begins the very beautiful trail no. 1, always follow this, initially in the direction of Obergummer, later in the direction of Karneid/Kardaun. In the centre of Kardaun you will finally come across the Eisacktal cycle path, follow this in a southerly direction to the starting point at Eurac.
