Caldaro Village Tour

This mountain bike tour leads through the village centre of Kaltern in the direction of the Altenburg sports zone. Continue on asphalt to Altenburg and at the small chapel turn right onto marker 99 in the direction of Ziegelstadel. Pass the Feldhof farm until you reach the first bend, leave the asphalt road here and turn right up a short, varied trail to the Ziegelstadel forest road. Take this trail back to the Kaltern sports zone. Shortly after the fork with the main road, turn left and continue straight ahead to the Mendelbahn cable car underpass. Above the church of St. Anton turn left and continue to the two church towers of St. Nikolaus. Continue straight on and at the first left turn right into the Vialweg. Descend the steep asphalt path briefly, then turn left onto marker 15A in the direction of Oberplanitzing. A short trail leads back to the road and continue on it in a northerly direction.
