Bressanone circular tour

Please do not ride this tour in the opposite direction! The Carl Told Weg is a popular hiking trail, a descent with the mountain bike can lead to dangerous situations. This must be avoided at all costs! The Brixen circular route starts in the centre of Brixen. Go up Stadelgasse, turn left to Dantestra&szlig and follow this to Elisbethsiedlung Süd. Walk up Neuhäuslweg in the direction of Salern, past the Schülerheim and down on path 6 to the Schalderer Bach (Vahrner Kneippanlage). On the Karl-Toldt-Weg steeply uphill (pushing passages) to the Salern ruin. From the ruin on trail 2, later trail 1 to the Vahrner See lake and continue on the cycle path to the Franzensfeste fortress. Here turn right onto the Brenner state road and left in the direction of Franzensfeste, then turn right and follow the municipal road via Aich to Schabs. Continue to Viums, Natz and finally via Elvas back to the centre of Brixen.
