A mountain bike tour in the Sarntal valley around Reinswald - includes some sections where riders have to carry their bikes.

This MTB tour of the Sarntal starts in Reinswald at the large car park. Cycle on path 7 into the Getrumtal valley until you reach the Getrumalm. Continue on path 7 on rocky ground across the Lückelescharte (Lückele col) to the Latzfonser Kreuz guesthouse. After a well-earned break, keep riding on path 7 (some very rough sections where you have to push) to the Fortschellscharte (Fortschell col), where you change to path 5. It is a stony and difficult trail, continue down it for a good while until it joins a wider path (still no.5). This path takes you towards Feldwies. When you reach it, keep going until you see a wayside cross. Turn left there and ride down a good path to the Kofljoch Hütte and keep going towards the Durnholzer See (Lago di Valdurna). Go round the lake on the right hand side and on the southern bank turn onto path 22. Continue along it until you return to the starting point in Reinswald.
