Into the Vallungtal.
Wonderful bike tour for bikers with good physical condition. The Vallungtal is one of the most beautiful and peaceful side valleys on the Reschenpass. The cultivated landscape impresses here up to over 2000 m.

Start in Reschen at the car park opposite the cemetery. The first 2 km along the Reschensee lake are perfect for rolling in, past the valley station of the Schöneben cable car, before the climb towards Rojen begins. Up to the hamlet of Rojen we stay on the asphalt road, from the Rojen car park the charming part of the tour begins. Past old small barns, the path leads into the Vallung valley. Short steep ramps are demanding on the legs, but the beauty of this valley does not cause any pain. The destination with the bike is the Grundboden hut at 2465 m. The ascent via trail no. 6 to the Rasass peak, which offers an enormous panorama in the direction of Sesvenna and the Ortler area, is very attractive.
