Around Brixen

You start at the square near the bike-hotel Goldene Krone, 565 m (1), and you leave Brixen to the east. You cross the river Eisack and the river Rienz, drive uphill for a short track and after approx. 1 km you turn right near a small chapel onto a hiking path (n. 5-6), 603 m (2). You follow this large trail through the forest and reach an asphalted road (approx. 200 m before you reach the old church of Milland “Maria im Sand”). You turn left, cross another river and follow the trail n. 7-8, then 8. You cross the main road, always along the trail n. 8 and after another 400 m you reach the mountain village Klerant, 856 m (3). You cross this village to the south until you reach the Oberplanetzhof, 880 m. After having passed this farm you follow a technically difficult track and shortly after you will, again, find yourself on another forest road.
