Alpe di Siusi at 360°
Extending as much as 8000 football fields would, at 2140 m in altitude at the heart of the Dolomites: the Siusi mountain pasture is the vastest in Europe and for this reason is part of the Dolomites Unesco world heritage.
This itinerary is one of the most beautiful though it is hard to enjoy it without a proper technique and the required physical condition. Steep ascents, demanding single trails, brief distances where you have to push your bike, rough road surface descents and the length of the itinerary are to be taken into consideration. All your efforts will be rewarded by a breathtaking 360° view. From the highest spot, the Chiesetta Dialer, an open field trail guides you to the Zallinger refuge. The descent at the feet of the Sassopiatto and Sassolungo pass by Saltiria with a brief passage in Valle Jender, the tour of the Col del Lupo and then the way back to the starting point in Compaccio will not be easily forgotten.
