About Getrum, Pichlberg and Pfnatsch

Strenuous is good, but pedalling uphill at the end of a MTB tour is a „böse“ thing. That is why we choose the hamlet of Unterreinswald as the starting point for the tour, despite limited parking space. This is the group of houses just before the division of the Durnholz-Reinswald road. This is where our circle will close at the end. Now, at the beginning, it is less difficult for us to manage the 300 metres uphill to the large car park of the skiing and hiking area (with refreshment facilities), which we save at the end. Arriving at the car park near the lift, we follow the signs for Getrum-Alm No. 7. We ignore the signs for hikers and stay on the asphalt road for the time being. At a huge crossroads we keep to the right and take the forest path. There is a total of around 800 metres of altitude to climb to the Getrum-Alm, which is open to the public.
