b) Biking on the Covelano Nordsberg
On the orographic right side of the valley in the central Val Venosta above Covelano is a true trail labyrinth. This mountain flank in the Vinschgau, densely wooded with earthy subsoil, holds the purest trail fireworks for enduro riders.

The best known and easiest trail for bikers on this side of the valley is the „Holy Hansen Trail“. A descent where the description "flowing single trail" applies 100%. This bike trail, created by bikers for bikers and named by the gnarly bike pioneer Matze Gruber, has achieved true cult status. Suitable for beginners, but also professionals will find an ingenious biking playground here. The descent can be easily combined with tour no. 42 „Göflaner Marmorbruch with Holy-Hansen-Trail“ or with tour no. 45 „Morterer Leger with Holy-Hansen-Trail“. Another descent on the Nördersberg from the Göflaner Scharte üover the Schartlkamm to the Kreuzjöchl is now one of the absolute highlights in the Vinschgau Valley. This mountain ridge up to the Kreuzjöchl offers an unparalleled panoramic view, whereby the start is actually only at 2400 m above the Göflaner Scharte. The Vinschgau Valley is literally before our eyes. The ascent to the Göflaner Scharte is from the Premstl Inn in the Martelltal
