4 Grünsee-Schwarzsee Tour in the border triangle
Varied circular tour in impressive scenery with a cosy stop at the Rescher Alm in the mountain bike Mecca of the three-country region. Single trail to Grünsee with a detour to Schwarzsee.
Start at the ➊ dam wall on Lake Reschen. Cross the dam wall and continue along the Rojen access road to above ➋ Spin. Leave the asphalt road slightly to the left and follow the forest road into the Hölden valley. At the fork in the road, turn slightly right and descend to the asphalt road. Continue in the direction of Rojen until you reach the turn-off for Rescher Alm. Turn right over the ➌ bridge, ascent to the ➍ Rescher Alm. After a stop for refreshments, the tour continues in the direction of Dreiländereck. At the ➎ barrier (2035 m) keep slightly to the right. This is where the descent to Gr nsee begins. Beware that just before the edge of the forest there is a difficult section (black trail, not to be underestimated, is usually wet!). The enduro trail from ➏ Grünsee (No. 9-9B) to ➐ Schwarzsee is very difficult and not really rideable with a normal mountain bike (hardtail)!
