This is the ideal circular route for bikers who are looking for peace and quietness and want to enjoy the nature of the Dolomites. The gravel road leading from Monte Pana to Mont Sëura initially runs through the forest and offers the biker the opportunity to listen to the sounds of nature while cranking. In the upper section, the forest gives a view of the impressive north face of the Sassolungo and finally, on Mont Sëura, the biker is rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Sella massif and the Sassolungo. For the descent, there are two variants (297 or 297a), both of which include some steeper sections and require some experience in mountain biking downhill.

Turn-by-turn directions
From the centre of S. Cristina you first take the asphalt road to the beautiful natural spot of Monte Pana. From there the gravel road starts uphill towards Crist de Cunfin. Cycling through the quiet forest along a wide forest road, you can listen to the birds chirping and enjoy the view of the majestic Sassolungo on your right. Shortly before Mont Sëura, the forest clears and gives way to a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding Dolomites and the north face of the local mountain of Val Gardena, the Sassolungo.
From here you can either continue towards Ciampinoi (Variante 297a) or continue downhill towards Selva Gardena. After crossing the famous downhill slope of the Saslong World Cup downhill run, the route continues via La Selva to the centre of Selva Gardena. Via the valley cycle path you finally reach the starting point in S. Cristina again.
