Turn-by-turn directions
From Selva Val Gardena go up with the cablecar Ciampinoi and you arrive just under the Sassolungo massif. After a short descent on a path used also by hikers you reach the wonderful Stone City “Citta dei Sassi”. The ride is on a flowing path with some sudden steep uphill stretches up to the parking area just under the Sella Pass. From here making the descent and a few bends that sometimes are particularly steep, you arrive in Val di Fassa. From Canazei with the help of two cablecars you reach Col dei Rossi, where you can take in the breathtaking views of the ‘Queen of the Dolomites’, the Marmolada Glacier, and the artificial Fedaia Lake. A single trail will lead to the chairlift Saletei, which takes you to Pordoi Pass. Form there a long and very panoramic trail takes you up to Burz followed by a more difficult trail downhill to Arabba. After a short stretch on a tarmac road there is quite a long uphill ride through the woods up to Cherz and further until the meadow of Inzija just above the Campolongo Pass. Here the descent is on a forest road which leads to Corvara. An easy uphill takes you to Colfosco. The cablcar up at the Gardena Pass allows some rest and the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains before the descent back to Selva di Val Gardena.
