“Ochsenlenke” – circular tour in the valley Ahrntal

The tour starts in Steinhaus. The first track follows the main road to St. Peter. Here you continue shortly and after the farm Wasserer you turn right to the farm Hofer and into the valley Hasental along the path n. 1. This path will bring you to the alp Innere Hasentalalm where you turn left onto the path n. 1b. Along this track you will reach the Ochsenlenke. Here you continue downhill along path 1b until you reach the hut Brunnerhütte and after the junction with the forest road you continue in the direction of the yoke Klammjoch (path n. 9). You follow this path to the alp Knuttenalm and to Rein in Taufers. At the church of Rein you follow the path n. 10 uphill for a short track until you reach Ahornach. You continue to Aschbach and along the road until you reach Sand in Taufers. The way back to Steinhaus is done along the road of the valley Ahrntal.
