Great circular hike in the high mountains at the Timmelsjoch - via the Knappenweg to the Schneeberghütte to the Große Schwarzsee and the Timmelsalm.
From the Timmelsbrücke, follow trail mark 29 üvia Tomelekaser and the Obergostalm in the direction of Schneebergersee. From here, take the Knappensteig trail up to the Schneeberg hut. Follow the signs up to the Karlscharte and down to the Timmelsbach. From here the tour leads to the Grosse Schwarzsee. Turn left and descend to the idyllically situated Timmelsalm. After a relaxing stop for refreshments, the tour continues along a pleasant path back to the starting point on the Timmelsjoch road.
