Steiler Aufstieg auf den Großen Laugen, ein großartiger Aussichtsberg, und ein sonniger Gratabstieg machen eine perfekte Rundtour.

Mit ihren 2434 m ist die Laugenspitze der höchste Gipfel der Nonsberggruppe, die südwestlich von Meran in den Südtiroler Alpen liegt. Sie teilt sich in zwei eigenständige Erhebungen: den Großen Laugen, den wir auf dieser Tour überschreiten, und den kleinen Laugen, den wir nur aus der Ferne betrachten. Der leichteste Weg zur Besteigung führt über den sanft ansteigenden Südgrat, bei dieser Tour wählen wir aber den Aufstieg von Osten her und steigen am Schluss nach Süden ab.
