Along path 1 go uphill to the Mangitz alpine hut (1836 m) and along path 4 (signposting “Piz Starlex”) to the Starlex shepherd’s alpine hut (2119 m, one hour). You reach a mountain saddle on the south-west ridge where you find a short path shaped open vertical canal that guides easily to the flat summit and the cross (3066 m).
