Seen from down in the valley
The Cima del Dosso is the most scenic mountain in the Val Senales. The summit which stands above the Vernago reservoir dominates the entire valley.

From Vernago you walk along the reservoir across the dam, then on route no. 17 through the forest up to the Waldinger mountain hut, and all the way to the tree line. Continue uphill along the ridge to the summit. Return via the same route to the intersection. Take a left onto route no. 16, which takes you to the valley and from there to route no. 13. This footpath takes you along gentle ups and downs to the Gerstgrasalm mountain hut. Walk down through the forest to the "Gerstgras" Restaurant, from there continue on route no. 13A across meadows and woods to the lake. Return to the dam along the reservoir.
