In the sunkissed Plan valley
Trek from hut to hut in the sunny Plan Valley.

Ascent: From Plan - Pfelders (1,622 m) we continue all the way to the top of the small valley, either on the right or on the left side of the stream, passing the Lazins mountain hut (with restaurant), to the Lazinser Alm (1,858 m, refreshments; at least an hour). We turn right onto route 8, which runs up a steep zigzag path to the Rifugio Petrarca - Stettiner Hütte. Here the high route begins (2,620 m, direction marked on a stone, 3 hours from the village; and approximately an hour to the refuge). – High route: at the intersection we turn right onto route 44, which runs across the steep slopes below sheer rock faces crossing several streams and ditches (a critical section is equipped with fixed ropes), reaching a major gorge, with route markers at the intersection (2,331 m; two hours to the Rifugio Plan - Zwickauer Hütte via the route on the left). Here we turn right on the new path marked 44A which runs along an almost flat section and around a rocky ridge (risk of falling rocks)
