The route crosses the pastures of Madonna della Neve from Rifugio Monte Baldo to the Campione Pass. From here continue at high altitude in the beech and silver fir woods towards Passo del Cerbiolo up to the Lavacchio bivouac. Then, with a small detour, you can look out over the Lower Vallagarina to admire the vineyards and villages of the valley from above. Crossing the mountain pastures of Malga Trattesoli and Malga Pian della Cenere, go down to the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Neve.

Author’s recommendation
Excellent trail even on hot days because largely in the shade of the forest. It requires a minimum of ability to orient oneself. Better if done with a topographic map because in some places the trace of the path is not very marked.

Path that starts uphill from Rifugio Monte Baldo towards Passo Campione, then continues in the woods to Passo del Cerbiolo and then to the Lavacchio bivouac. From here downhill on a dirt road to Madonna della Neve.
By road
From Avio, go up the road that leads to San Valentino for 12 km to the junction before the dam of Lake Pra de la Stua. Just before the dam, take the road on the left towards Madonna della Neve, continue for 5 km and take the fork on the left until you reach the Rifugio Monte Baldo.Parking
