Talleitspitze (local mountain of Vent)
The 3,406 m high Talleitspitze towers over Vent in the rearmost Ötztal. It divides the Venter Valley into the two side valleys Rofental and Niedertal. During the ascent, a total of 1,500 meters of ascent and descent must be conquered. The first part leads over a marked hiking trail to the Hörnle, a first lookout point with a summit cross. Then you follow the trail tracks a grass slope further up into the large rocky cirque. When you reach the northeast ridge, block terrain and easy climbing areas (I to II) follow in mostly extremely fragile terrain. This route is therefore only recommended for experienced mountaineers who feel comfortable in exposed ridge climbing in mostly brittle terrain. Those who can cope with the difficulties are usually rewarded with a lonely summit and a fabulous all-round view of famous mountains such as Mutmalspitze, Hintere Schwärze, Similaun, Fineilspitze, Weißkugel and Wildspitze in the middle of the Ötztal Alps.
