One of the longest and most strenuous circular tours described in this book leads through the Kirchberg valley up to the 2957 metre high Gleck. The way back is via the Schwarzersee and Langsee lakes over the Fiecht Alm back to St. Gertraud.

From the car park, follow a wide tractor path (no. 106), which leads over a bridge to the Kirchberg Alm forest road. Follow this on a pleasant incline into the valley, before a bend branches off to take the much steeper shortcut (no. 108). The last few metres to the alpine pasture are on the forest road again (approx. 1.5 hours). After the alpine pasture, a forest road also leads inwards into the valley, but now it is much steeper to the unmanaged Bärhapp Alm (approx. 2.5 hours). From here, trail no. 108 leads to the Rabbijoch (2460 m). Then follow the path slightly downhill to the Haselgrüber Hütte (2425 m), a refuge of the Italian Alpine Association CAI (approx. 3.5 hours). From here, follow trail no. 145 in the direction of Gleck. Passing the idyllic Haselgruber lakes, you finally reach the summit ridge. After a total walking time of about five hours, you reach the 2957 metre high Gleck. The return path is via trail no. 145 to Schwarzerjoch and via trail no. 107 steeply down to
