From Reschen, the route leads through the Rojental valley to Rojen, the highest hamlet in South Tyrol that is inhabited all year round.
This easy circular hike takes you from Reschen, the village where the Etsch river rises, to Rojen. This hamlet is one of the highest settlements in South Tyrol that is inhabited all year round. There it is worth taking a look at the Gothic church of St. Nicholas, which is very impressive with its expressive frescoes. After a break at the Rojen inn, the trail heads out of the valley above the limestone forest at the foot of the Nockenkopf. After a while we pass the Vallierteck Chapel and hike back to Reschen along the pilgrimage path.
