Ascent via the Pfeifholdertal - starting from the Neves reservoir in the rear Mühlwaldertal.

From the Neves reservoir (1860 m; toll road up here from Lappach; parking, refreshment facilities in summer) either on the south side üd side over the dam or around the north shore to üFrom there always on trail 26 in the Pfeifholdertal through forest, over grassy areas and finally over boulders westwards up to the Edelrauth hut (2545 m; summer catering; from the reservoir a good 2 hours.). From there, follow the markings on the south side, over boulders and scree, up to the summit ridge, and then turn right over this ridge to the summit cross (2888 m; 1 hour from the refuge). The descent is via the described ascent route.
