Mountain tour to Schientalkopf (Schüttalkopf)

From the Kasern/Casere car park (1595 m) hike into the valley on trail no. 13. Soon after the Adleralm hut, turn left from the forest road onto trail no. 14 in the direction of the Tauernalm/Krimmler Tauern. Follow this historic trail uphill past the Tauernalm (2018 m) to the Krimmler Tauern (2634 m, chine). Take the left fork here in the direction of Schientalkopf. The marked path over the mountain ridge always steadily ascends until you finally see the summit cross shortly before reaching the summit. Walking time approx. 4.30 h. For hikers who are used to walking and are in good shape, this is a rewarding summit tour that is not too difficult.
