A great view of Vinschgau This genuine 3000 m peak of the Texel group dominates the Naturnser Sonnenberg. The view south is most impressive - Naturns and Lower Vinschgau -, to the east the rocky Zielspitze, and to the north the other Texel group peaks (Gfallwand, Lodner, Tschigot, Hohe Weisse). Your walk starts at Dickhof (Val Senales) which towers like a turret over Vinschgau and Val Senales. Follow track No. 10 (signposted "Dicker Alm") through shady woodland first to Dicker Alm (2060 m) then on to Moaralm. Here track No. 10A branches off to the right leading through the quaint high valley. The path continues over alpine meadows to the mountain's rubble field and gets more steep towards the end.
