Sechste Etappe der Hufeisentour von der Hirzer Hütte zur Meraner Hütte

Das Highlight der heutigen Etappe ist ohne Frage die Besteigung des Hirzer, der mit 2781 m der höchste Berg der Sarntaler Alpen ist. Auf dem Weg über den Gebirgsjägersteig liegt außerdem der Kratzbergersee, an dem wir uns im Sommer eine willkommene Abkühlung gönnen. Insgesamt ist auch diese Etappe nicht zu unterschätzen, knapp 1000 Höhenmetern müssen gemeistert werden.
