Hohe Kreuzspitze Crossing
With its 2743 m, the Hohe Kreuzspitze rises between the Passeier Valley and the Ratsching Valley. The striking summit is largely made of marble and breaks off quite steeply to the south. Climbers particularly appreciate the beautiful view from the summit, but the ascent is not for beginners: from Stuls, which is located to the southwest, we first climb along a hiking trail, then along paths on steep meadow slopes. Then it's over gravel fields and along a safety rope over some larger rock slabs. Especially the last part before the summit requires full physical condition and surefootedness. The descent is via the somewhat easier east ridge.
