Glödis 3.206m - the Matterhorn of East Tyrol
The Glödis is a shapely mountain that is not called the "Matterhorn of East Tyrol" for nothing. Its triangular shape and steep flanks can already be seen from the valley. A via ferrata via the south-east grade makes its ascent easier, but since you are in high alpine terrain, it should still not be underestimated. In good weather, you are rewarded with a fantastic view of the Großglockner.

I was lucky to be born and raised in South Tyrol, in the heart of Europe, in the heart of the Alps! The mountains, especially the Dolomites, have fascinated me since I was little and today I spend most of my free time there to pursue my sport, to explore new valleys and mountains. In summer with mountain boots, rope and climbing harness, in winter with skis, ice axes and crampons. My motto in life: "A good mountaineer is an old mountaineer."
