Bergtour mit schönen Blicken auf Weinberge und Dolomitengipfel

Der Mendelkamm ist ein markanter Gebirgszug in den Südtiroler und Trentiner Kalkalpen. An seinem nördlichen Ende ragt der steilwandige Gantkofel in die Höhe. Von dessen Gipfel aus haben wir einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf Bozen und die Weinberge im oberen Etschtal und Eisacktal. Die Tour besteht aus geschotterten Wegen und teilweise ausgesetzten Pfadspuren – ein gewisses Maß an Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit ist also erforderlich. Für die Anstrengung beim Aufstieg werden wir aber mit schönen Blicken auf die in der Ferne liegenden Spitzen von Rosengarten und Schlern belohnt.
