Up above the tree line and over grassy slopes to the summit cross

First approach via Martell-Dorf to Stallwieshof (1931 m; inn; parking). From there, always follow the good M 5 on a footpath steeply up through the forest to the tree line, then over stony and rocky grassy slopes mostly quite steeply up to a terrain edge where the mountain grass ends and the summit structure becomes visible. Now follow the good markings and partly also cairns less steeply up over slate boulders and a small snow field and finally up over the rocky summit flank to the summit cross (3304 m). From Stallwieser approx. 4 hours - descent: on the described ascent route, approx. 2:30 hours.
