Schwach geneigt zeigt sich der Seekofel zu unserem Anstiegsweg von Südwesten, an der Nordseite bricht er dagegen nahezu senkrecht über 1300 Höhenmeter zum Pragser Wildsee ab.
Vom Berggasthof Pederü über die hier ansetzende, sich mittels Serpentinen steil hochwindende Schotterstraße nach Osten aufwärts zur Senneshütte, 2116 m. Bei der Hütte vorbei und wenig später rechts abbiegen und der Wegmarkierung 6 zur Seekofelhütte (2337 m) folgen. Von der Hütte zur Ofenscharte und über den hier ansetzenden Südostgrat in kurzen Kehren aufwärts zu einem kurzen, schmalen Gratstück, welches durch Drahtseile gesichert ist. Über diese hinweg zur sich nun verbreitenden, schotterigen Gipfelabdachung und über diese zum höchsten Punkt. Abstieg: Wie Anstieg.
