Once in Palai, follow the SAT n. 314, always taking care not to confuse the many red and white markings of the Höferrunde, the mule tracks and the many other paths. In the hamlet of Tolleri, turn left and follow the steep road over some mountain farms until you reach the remote Val Battisti and the Sattelenjoch (2121 m). Here follow the SAT n. 461 (or Translagorai) and in constant ups and downs you reach the Cadin Pass or Fiemme Pass (2108 m). If you want, you can descend after the Sattelenjoch to the Obere Cagnon Alm (1900 m) and enjoy a nice glass of milk and a good Hüttenkäse there. Afterwards, however, you have to return to the original altitude.
