Dolorama - total distance

The Dolorama Trail leads, starting from the Rodenecker and the Lüsner Alm, partly on forest and hiking trails through the beautiful natural landscapes of the Eisack Valley.With a breathtaking view of the pale mountains, as the Dolomites are also called, including the Peitlerkofel, the imposing rock formations of the Aferer and the Villnösser Geisler, the Lang- and Plattkofel and the Schlern, you to around 60 km Lajen above Klausen. Several rest and viewing spots along the way offer the opportunity to rest during the hike. In Astmoos on the Lüsner Alm, for example, there is a prähistorical settlement site from which you can enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains. For those who want to walk this four-day tour in sections, there is also the possibility of shortening the overall route via the numerous ascents and descents. These, like the starting and finishing points, can also be reached by public transport.  .   The individual sections of the Dolorama Trail: 1st stage
