Auf dem Höhenweg zur Hintergrathütte, idyllische Landschaft
Von Sulden mit dem Sessellift hinauf zum Langenstein (2330 m; hier die Gaststätte »K2«), von dort auf dem Höhenweg (so genannten »Morosiniweg«, Mark. 3) zuerst eben und dann gleichmäßig leicht ansteigend über die Moränen des End-der-Welt-Ferners zu einem Bergrücken mit dem Scheibenboden und durch die anschließende Geröll- und Schrofenflanke in 1:15 Std. zur Hintergrathütte (2661 m; Sommerbewirtschaftung). – Abstieg: Von der Hütte zuerst auf Bergweg Nr. 2, vorbei am Standort der einstigen Bäckmannhütte, süd- und ostwärts hinunter, dann auf Weg 1 weiter hinab nach Innersulden und auf Weg 7 talaus zum Ausgangspunkt; ab Hütte gut 2 Std.
