Diese Wanderung führt von Altrei über Lärchenwiesen auf das Trudner Horn.
Der Start der Wanderung zum Trudner Horn ist beim Tourismusbüro in Altrei. Zuerst dem Forstweg Nr.2 folgend durch schattigen Wald. Der Steig wird schmäler und schlängelt sich über ausgedehnte Lärchenwiesen vorbei an idyllischen Almhütten. Immer wieder wandern wir dabei entlang von stillen Mooren. Wir folgen dann rechts dem Fortsweg E5 bis zur Horn Alm und von dort Aufstieg zum Trudner Horn (1710m), wo uns ein herrlicher Ausblick über die Fleimstaler Alpen erwartet. Nach einer ausgiebigen Rast auf der Alm steigen wir zum Zissattel hinab und folgen dem Forstweg Nr.3 im Schatten von Fichten-Tannenwäldern zurück nach Altrei.
