Less known but very nice footway- circuit leading from Arsio to Maso Plaz

Starting from Arsio, with his ancient castle, there exists an idyllic footway trail to Maso Plaz, leading through woods and meadows. After a short walk we reach the high plateau of Maso Plaz with an immediate spectacular view over the Val di Non valley with the Brenta Dolomites in the background. During the following part we walk next large meadows of Maso Plaz enjoying changing panoramic views until reaching the point of destination.

Turn-by-turn directions

Starting from the parking area at Arsio we walk on the street in direction Maso Plaz for about 500m. After the second curve we take the gear on the right side and proceed on a forest trail leading directly to the high plateau of Maso Plaz. There we walk on a country lane on the border oft he forest until the highest point where we find the Garden&Restaurant Maso Plaz. The return path starts on the road to Arsio until the end of the meadows. There, in a sharp left turn, we take a forest path on the right side leading direcly tot he church of Santa Maria, Arsio. The rest until the parking area proceeds on the road to Arsio.

Starting from Fondo (Val di Non) you take the bus in direction Cles until Arsio. From there you walk on the walkway until Maso Plaz (the walkway Arsio-Maso Plaz is published on Outdooractive). There is he starting point of this tour. For return we recommend the same walkway to Arsio or a walk to Cloz where you can take the same bus line to return to Fondo. The schedule you will find on the website Linee Extraurbane Trentine Linea Fondo Cles.
