Von Dietenheim nach Amaten
Von Dietenheim beim Sportplatz in Richtung "Huber am Berg" und von dort durch den Wald hinauf - der Beschilderung folgend kann man einen Abstecher zum Aufhofner Kofel machen. Achtung: der Aufhofner Kofel fällt unmittelbar beim Gipfelkreuz inklusive des GESAMTEN Bereichs in Richtung Südwesten steil ab (Felswand!!) - daher ist z. B. mit Kindern große Vorsicht geboten wenn man sich dort bewegt. Ohne Abstecher auf den Aufhofner Kofel folgt man der Beschilderung weiter und geht durch lichten Föhrenwald hinauf nach Amaten: hier bekommt der Wanderer einen guten Überblick über den Brunecker Talkessel. Von Amaten kurz über die asphaltierte Straße bis man dann rechts in Richtung Oberraut abzweigt. nach ca. 200 m link auf einen Forstweg abzweigend folgt man diesem abwärts bis zurück nach Dietenheim.
