Der Start der Rundwanderung nach Pfammes erfolgt in Afens. Am "Rundweg Afens" geht es am Waldrand hinauf über Weg 1A zu den Weideflächen von Pfammes – romantisches Almgebiet mit herrlicher Aussicht. Man steigt am aufgelassenen Hof ostwärts auf breitem Waldweg hinunter zur Pfitscher Straße, am Stausee vorbei talauswärts über die Brücke. Nun auf der Landesstraße bleibend oder rechts den alten Pfitscher Weg hinunter und zurück nach Afens.
