Wenn man von Bruneck nach Pfalzen fährt, befindet rund 500 Meter vor Ortsbeginn auf der linken Seite ein Parkplatz. Von hier aus wandert am Waldrand entlang zur Sportzone von Pfalzen. Dort folgt man den Weg Nr. 6B (Forstweg) nach Irenberg. Am Ende dieses Weges zweigt man nach rechts ab und wandert hinunter zum Issinger Weiher. Hinter dem gleichnamigen Restaurant führt der Weg vorbei am Hochseilgarten und wieder zurück zur Sportzone und weiter zum Parkplatz.
