Mysterious mountain figure
Hike under the spell of Rosengarten and Latemar: legends surround the Völsegger Spitze.

From the car park not far from Weißlahnbad in the innermost Tierser Tal (1179 m), follow trail 4 A, first on a flat little road to the last houses, then on a wide forest path slightly uphill to the Wuhnleger (1402 m) mentioned above and finally on trail 4, climbing more steeply through the forest and over rocky outcrops up to the Tschafonhütte (1728 m; 1:30 h). From there on the marked and signposted footpath, initially almost level or only slightly ascending through the forest westwards and finally steeper with a few hairpin bends over rocky forest terrain up to the cross on the Völsegger Spitze (1834 m); from the hut 20 min. – Descent: Via the described ascent path in around 1:30 hrs.
