From Vattaro
From the bus stop on the SS 349 (Via Vicenza) just behind the Hotel Dolomiti di Vattaro, take Via Doss del Bue, which immediately climbs sharply. After a few metres the road continues to the right, but turn left (Via Forno) and follow the signs for the Ippovia del Trentino Orientale (bridleway). This road also climbs sharply, passing some houses on the left and a drainage channel on the right. After 500 metres, on asphalt, you pass a meadow followed by a wood that accompanies the trail for a few hundred metres.

On the hillside of the village of Flonker (clearing on the left), turn towards the farm of the same name, which you go around on the right along the grassy path (fence to open and close so as not to release the cattle grazing in summer). At the end of the grassy path, after closing the fence, go uphill for a few metres until you reach a small road where you continue to the right. Shortly afterwards, turn left into the woods and head in the direction of the former Rifugio Madonnina. After about 40 minutes, the fairly wide road leads to the village of Val dei Tabacari (1011 m).
